Orchids, Coffee, and Art This Weekend in Manizales
This weekend, we invite you to enjoy a cultural experience centered around coffee, art, nature, orchids, gastronomy, fashion, and crafts. Mark your calendar from February 25 to 27 at the Recinto del Pensamiento in Manizales for the 7th Orchids, Coffee, and Art Festival, an event returning after two years to reestablish its place in the city?s cultural agenda.
How about tasting the world?s smoothest coffee while exploring an exhibition where you can learn everything about orchids?
And how about living this experience with your family, with spaces designed for the little ones, while also discovering fashion and design?
This event is designed for everyone and, under the slogan ?Together Committed to Manizales,? offers a diverse program that promotes coffee quality and consumption, provides spaces to enjoy the landscape and biodiversity, and combines fashion and gastronomy in the Zigzag Market.
Plans for Everyone
For coffee lovers, the agenda includes an academic seminar, the awards ceremony for the 18th Caldas High-Quality Coffee Contest, the Mobile Coffee Classroom, as well as tasting, preparation, and cupping events.

Children will enjoy games, food trucks, and the Buendía Safari adventure, while families can explore the Misty Forest and the Wooden Pavilion at Recinto del Pensamiento, among other areas. These open-air spaces offer a tranquil experience that includes a birdwatching deck, butterfly observatory, and aroma garden, among others.
Did you know that the Cattleya trianae is Colombia?s national flower? The 16th National Orchid Exhibition will gather orchidology associations in one place to share knowledge about this flower.
On the other hand, the ?Magical Bloom? fashion and gastronomy fair will turn Zigzag Market into a space featuring 84 micro-entrepreneurs in fashion and orchids and 18 in gastronomy: the perfect spot to discover local talent.
You have three days to visit Recinto del Pensamiento and enjoy this cultural experience of coffee, art, and orchids. Remember to follow all biosecurity protocols: carry your vaccination card with a complete schedule, wear a face mask, apply hand sanitizer, and maintain a two-meter distance.
