Hotel Benidorm is proud to be located in such a beautiful, cultured region; so rich in fauna and flora and, above all, so magical in its people and landscapes. So if you visit Manizales and can take a short trip through the Caldas region, we?d like to recommend 5 routes for town-hopping in Caldas.
Condor Route
This route is made up of 8 villages in the municipality of Villamaría, Caldas. It includes the villages of Papayal, La Guayana, Santo Domingo, and the Agricultural Village La Paz. In the lower part, it covers Llanitos, Río Claro, San Julián, and Nueva Primavera, showcasing the splendor of the Coffee Cultural Landscape.
It is estimated that seven condors inhabit Los Nevados National Natural Park, and with luck, they can be seen. For birdwatching, it is important to wear appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, avoid scents, bring a rain jacket, and wear solid-colored clothing.
Not to mention the gastronomy?these villages produce cheese, milk, yogurt, and offer sweets made with tree tomato and strawberries.
Thermal Route
According to the website Geosalud, ?Bathing in thermal waters raises body temperature, killing germs including viruses. It also increases the body's hydrostatic pressure, improving blood circulation and oxygenation.?
Our department has a thermal water route that flows down from Los Nevados Park, with 23 hydrothermal sources out of the 33 found in the department.
Villamaría invites locals and visitors to enjoy 6 locations where thermal waters can be experienced: Hotel Termales el Otoño, Aquaparque El Otoño, Termales Tierra Viva, Termales del Ruíz, and Termales La Quinta.
